Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AtomTask ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account data: If you sign in with Google or email, we collect your email address and display name through Supabase Authentication.
- Task and habit data: All tasks, habits, micro-actions, and preferences you create are stored locally on your device.
- License keys: Premium license keys are verified through Gumroad but are not stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Anonymous usage: Supabase may log basic request metadata (timestamps, endpoint accessed) for operational purposes.
- Crash data: Basic crash information may be collected to improve app stability.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you via Supabase Auth (Google OAuth or email/password).
- To verify Premium license keys through Gumroad's License Verification API.
- To provide AI task deconstruction using NVIDIA's API (task titles only, never full content).
- To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns.
Data Storage & Security
Local-First Architecture
All your task data, habits, and preferences are stored in an encrypted Hive database on your device. This means your data is never transmitted to our servers. You can optionally export encrypted backups to your own storage.
- Encryption: Hive boxes are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.
- Authentication only: Supabase is used solely for authentication — not for storing your task data.
- No cloud sync: There is no cloud synchronization of your tasks. Your data stays on your device.
Third-Party Services
AtomTask uses the following third-party services:
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app. Local task data will be removed with the app. If you signed in with Supabase Auth, you can delete your authentication account through the app's settings or by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
AtomTask is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
